The Master's Degree in Administration of PROPAD / UFPE has been running since 1995, with annual admissions, having so far trained about 100 (one hundred) masters. The course is offered free of charge and access is made through a public selection process. It has CAPES and CNPq scholarships and offers them, guided by criteria established by the agencies and / or by the PROPAD Collegiate.

The institutional objectives of the Program are:
• Train teachers who, quantitatively and qualitatively, attend to the expansion of teaching in the area of administration;
• Prepare researchers for theoretical-empirical development in the field of administration;
• Train teachers and researchers to work in the administration field, with the purpose of improving and improving the management and productivity of public and private organizations;
• Stimulate the production of knowledge relevant to administrative theory and practice.

PROPAD is, first and foremost, an academic training program for research and focuses on Organizational Management. The composition of the "management" approach to the broader field of organizations is justified. The constant economic, political, social and technological transformations are resulting in paradigmatic changes and the questioning of several areas of knowledge, including that of the administrative sciences, which has been striving to give satisfactory answers to the problems of integrated human development.
The master's course has two terminalities in progression. One is to build the capacity for reflection and research in administration, the basis for work in any higher education institution in this area; the other refers to the students who demonstrate a special vocation for research, it is preparation and initiation to the doctorate, which will then recognize all the credits.
