Rules for Theses and Dissertations Rules for Theses and Dissertations

The delivery of the final versions of the dissertation and thesis is done digitally, via CD, at the Central Library. Besides, the student must forward the final version, with the corrections suggested by the examining panel at the time of the presentation, for the Sectorial Library of the Center of Biosciences, requesting the catalog card. This action is done by e-mail: fichacatalograficacb@yahoo.com. The request must be made by attaching the final version of the thesis/dissertation, in addition to the Approval Form that is delivered on the day of the presentation of the student.

The deadline for depositing is 90 days, and if the student is unable to deliver within that period, for whatever reason, he must inform the Program Coordination. The maximum term in which BC receives the final versions of the work is one year after the defense, after which the student must make an application to the Graduate Board of PROPESQ requesting authorization for the deposit, with justification for the non-delivery on time. The student should request in the Protocol of the Rectory, attaching a copy of the defense minutes.
