The Ecology, Behavior and Conservation Lab investigates a range of vertebrate species, including various primates, manatees and sea turtles. The fields of research of the lab include bioacoustics, ecoacoustics, communication, climate change impacts and other anthropogenic disturbances on animal distribution and behaviour, and the sustainability of observational tourism. The head of the lab is Professor Bruna Bezerra, and her team includes a posdoctoral research fellow, PhD, MSc and undergrad training students.
