INTERNAL RULES OF THE POSTGRADUATE PROGRAM IN NUTRITION, PHYSICAL ACTIVITY AND PHENOTYPIC PLASTICITY (PPGNAFPF)

 

CHAPTER I

PURPOSE

 

Art. 1st Postgraduate Program in NUTRITION, PHYSICAL ACTIVITY AND PHENOTYPIC PLASTICITY

(PPGNAFPF) is a stricto sensu Program of the Federal University of Pernambuco, which aims to develop the necessary skills for professionals with a higher level to carry out scientific research and teaching in Higher Education Institutions and Research Centers in different areas of Nutrition Science and leading to a Master's degree in NUTRITION, PHYSICAL ACTIVITY AND PHENOTYPIC PLASTICITY.

§ 1 The PPGNAFPF is linked to the Academic Center of Vitória of the Federal University of Pernambuco

(CAV-UFPE).

§ 2 The academic master's course consists of two areas of concentration: "Experimental and Clinical Bases of Phenotypic Plasticity" and "Modulating Environmental Factors of Phenotypic Plasticity".

§ 3 The areas of concentration of the PPGNAFPF are structured in lines of research, articulated and coherent with each other, in the specific fields of knowledge in nutrition, admitting the multidisciplinary character.

 

CHAPTER II

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

 

SECTION I

PROGRAM COLLEGIATE

 

Art. 2 The Postgraduate Program in Nutrition, Physical Activity and Phenotypic Plasticity will be managed by the Collegiate Body, according to resolution 11/2019 of the Coordinating Council for Teaching, Research and Extension (CEPE), which has the following composition:

a) permanent professors;

b) student representation.

c) Representation of administrative technicians

 

§ 1 The Master's course will be directed by a Coordinator and a Vice-Coordinator, designated in the manner established by the Resolution to resolution 11/2019 of CEPE.

§ 2 The collaborating professors, visiting researchers, Post-Doctoral researchers linked to the PPGNAFPF, can participate in the Collegiate meetings, with the right to voice and without the right to vote.

§ 3 Participates in the Collegiate 01 (one) student representative of each class of the master's course, elected from and among the regular students of the Program, with a mandate of 01 (one) year, which can be renewed for another year and with the right to vote.

Paragraph 4 Participates in the Collegiate 01 (one) representative of the administrative technicians, elected from among and by the administrative technicians, with a mandate of 02 (two) years, which can be renewed for another year and with the right to vote.

 

Art. 3 The attributions of the Program Collegiate are:

I - coordinate, guide and monitor the academic, pedagogical, didactic and budgetary functioning of the Program;

II - propose to the PostGraduate Chamber, through PROPESQ:

a) the credible curricular components (mandatory, elective and other academic activities) for curricular integration and changes in the curricular structure with the respective epigraphs, syllabuses indicating the syllabus, hours, number of credits and conditions for obtaining them;

b) the bylaws and subsequent amendments.

III - implement determinations emanating from Organs higher bodies of UFPE to which it is linked;

IV - appreciate suggestions from Departmental Councils, Departments, professors and students, relating to the functioning of the course;

V - give an opinion on student disciplinary infractions and forward them, when applicable, to Organs competent bodies;

VI - decide on requirements and resources filed against him, establishing rapporteurs, when necessary;

VII - establish rules for the admission and maintenance of professors in the Program, define criteria for the accreditation of professors as permanent, collaborator or visitor, as well as the maximum limit of supervisors per advisor, observing the recommendations of the CAPES area coordination, approving accreditation and maintenance of professors in the Program;

VIII- support the course coordinator in carrying out his duties;

IX - decide on requests for transfer of students from other postgraduate programs;

X - designate, among its members, the components of temporary, specific and advisory commissions, created with a view to assisting the coordination of the course in decisions on matters relevant to the smooth running of the Program;

XI - submit to PROPESQ's approval the names that will compose the examining boards for the defense of dissertations and theses;

XII - evaluate the opinion of the Program's rapporteurs on requests for recognition of postgraduate degrees obtained in foreign institutions sent by PROPESQ;

XIII - perform other duties as determined by the General Regulations of the University, by CEPE Resolutions and by these Regulations;

XIV- to elect, among its members, the permanent professors and / or collaborators who will form the Postgraduate Commission (CPG) as defined in Articles 4 and 5 of these Rules;

XV - hold annual meetings, called IMMERSION, to evaluate research activities, planning, management and action strategies with the objective of scientific evolution of the PPGNAFPF, progression and consolidation in institutional performance evaluations;

XVI - carry out planning and management studies, in conjunction with other PostGraduate Programs at the Academic Center of Vitória, to improve research and Postgraduate studies within this Center;

XVII - designate the PostGraduate Commission (CPG) or institute a special committee, of a transitory nature, to issue an opinion and / or decide on matters related to its attributions, except changes in the Regulations and election of the Program Coordinator and Vice-Coordinator.

Sole Paragraph - The Collegiate may have face-to-face and non-face-to-face meetings, via teleconference or electronic communications via the internet, whenever called by the PPGNAFPF coordinator or by the majority of its members, as provided for in the PPG internal rules.

 

Art. 4º The CPG will be constituted by the coordinator, by the vice-coordinator, by 03 (three) professors of the Collegiate and by 01 (one) representative of the student body, totaling six members.

§ 1 The professors who make up the CPG will be elected at a collegiate meeting.

Paragraph 2. The mandates of professors at CPG will be 02 (two) years, with the right to a renewal.

§ 3 The student body representative will be elected from among and by students regularly enrolled in the PPGNAFPF for a one-year term, with the right to a reappointment.

 

Art. 5 The CPG is responsible for:

I - collaborate with the coordinator in the performance of his duties;

II - monitor all the work related to the development of the Postgraduate PRogram;

III - to present, annually, to the Collegiate, updates on the mandatory curricular components and elect the members of the course curriculum with the respective epic episodes indicating the content of the programme's oraries and number of credits;

IV - to examine the proposals related to the erta and creation of curricular components of Postgraduate programs by combining the content of the programmatic chronograms and criteria of the aliation presented as well as the attribution of the number of corresponding credit units;

V - to elaborate the selection and admission process for the Postgraduate Program and to prepare the scholarship distribution rules obtained from the members of the funding agency;

VI - Indicate, for homologation by PROPESQ, the effective and alternate members who must constitute the examining commissions of the dissertations;

VII - indicate to the Collegiate the members that will compose the Selection and Admission Committee to the master's course;

 

decide on the approval of credits and the use of disciplines;

deliberate on omitted cases within its legal attributions and give an opinion on any other matters of interest to the Program;

present the results of the professors' annual alliances to the Faculty.

For the sole - The CP will ordinarily meet upon the request of the P struction coordinator and, extraordinarily, when convened by a simple majority of its members.

 

SECTION II

PROGRAM COORDINATION

 

Art. 6 The Postgraduate Program in Nutrition, Physical Activity and Phenotypic Plasticity will have a Coordinator and a Vice-Coordinator, elected by the collegiate in a face-to-face meeting, from among the permanent professors who have an active and permanent administrative job with UFPE , elected by the Board of Directors in a face-to-face meeting, on a date prior to the end of the current term of office.

§ 1 The Coordinator and the Vice-Coordinator will have a term of 02 (two) years, with a renewal for an equal period, subject to a new election.

§ 2 The vice-coordinator (a) will replace the coordinator (a) in his absences or impediments as well as may assume his own duties by designation of the coordinator or by provision in the Internal Regulation or in Internal Regulations of the Program.

§ 3 The coordinator and the vice-coordinator may not simultaneously assume the coordination or the vice-coordination of another postgraduate program at UFPE, or outside it.

§ 4 In the event of resignation or impossibility to continue the mandate of coordinator, in any period, the vice-coordinator (a) will assume the Coordination and will call election for coordinator and vice-coordinator Program, within up to three months

Art. 7 The Coordinator is responsible for:

I - call and chair the meetings of the Collegiate and CPG;

II - request, from those entitled, the measures that are necessary for the best functioning of the course in terms of facilities, equipment and personnel;

III - articulate with  the Research and Extension Center (NPE) of the Academic Center of Vitoria and PROPESQ, in order to harmonize the course's operation with the guidelines issued by them;

IV - organize the academic calendar of the PPG to be approved by the Board, observing the semester registration schedule established by PROPESQ.

V - disseminate and define, in agreement with the professors, the curricular components to be offered in each academic period; for those subjects in which the number of places is limited, establish priorities for enrollment among students who apply for them;

VI - be responsible for the orientation of the enrollment and for the execution of the schooling services, according to the system established by the competent central bodies;

VII - supervise the fulfillment of academic activities, presenting cases of irregularities or disciplinary infractions to the competent bodies;

VIII - propose to the collegiate the opening of new vacancies for the selection exam, considering the relationship between students and professors recommended by the coordination of the CAPES area related to the Program;

IX - forward, each year, to the Postgraduate Directorate of PROPESQ, the updated list of active and retired professors who are part of the Program's faculty, by category (permanent, collaborators and visitors), work regime, qualifications and origin or the HEI of origin when applicable;

X - submit an annual report of the Program's activities (through the SUCUPIRA CAPES platform) to PROPESQ within the period stipulated by it;

 

XI - forward to the Diploma Registration Service (SRD) a copy of the Course's Internal Regulations, as published in the Official Gazette of UFPE, and a copy of the curricular structure authenticated by the Division of Postgraduate Programs, duly approved by the Division of Postgraduate Programs.

XII - comply with and enforce the decisions of Organs higher bodies on matters relating to the Program's courses, as well as perform the other duties that are set forth in the General Rules of the University, in CEPE Resolutions and in these Rules;

XIII - call and preside quarterly meetings with the student body.

 

SECTION III

THE TEACHING BODY

 

Art. 8 The PPGNAFPF faculty is made up of permanent professors, collaborators and visitors. The admission and permanence of professors in the Program will follow the criteria established by the collegiate in internal regulations.

§ 1 ° Permanent professors, characterized as such according to the provisions of Ordinance No. 81, of June 3, 2016, are those who have a functional link with UFPE, or an exceptional link, and who work in the Program on a continuous basis - carrying out teaching, research and orientation activities - constituting the stable nucleus of professors of the Program in a regime of forty hours of work per week, assuming that a non-majority part of these professors has a partial dedication regime.

§ 2 The stability of the group of professors declared as permanent by the Program will be subject to monitoring and systematic evaluation by the area evaluation coordinators and commissions and by the CPG.

§ 3 ° The professors thus classified, declared and reported annually by the PPGNAFPF, and who meet all the following prerequisites may be included in the category of permanent professors:

I - develop teaching activities in postgraduate and / or undergraduate courses;

II - participate in PPGNAFPF research projects;

III - guide PPGNAFPF master students, being duly accredited as a supervisor by the Program Collegiate;

IV - have a functional-administrative link with UFPE or, exceptionally, considering the specificities of areas, institutions and regions, fall under one of the following special conditions:

a) when they receive a scholarship from professors or researchers from federal or state funding agencies;

b) when, as a retired professor or researcher, they have signed a term of commitment with UFPE to participate as a professor in the Program;

c) when they have been assigned, by formal agreement, to act as a professor of the Program;

d) when the professor is in a long way for realization of a p o-doctoral stage he is senior or relevant activity in Education Science, science and innovation and does not meet the development of teaching activities in p- and / or radiation and nor participate in research projects of the PP, provided that all other requirements are met.

§ 4 ° The category of visitors includes professors or researchers with a untional-administrative link with the FPE or other Brazilian institutions or not that have been released by formal agreement of the activities corresponding to such a link to collaborate for a continuous period of time and in terms of full dedication in research projects and / or teaching activities in the program allowing them to act as advisors and in extension activities.

The role of exempt professors or researchers in the area of erá will be assessed by internal selection work contract carried out by the PP for a fixed period of time with the institution or by a scholarship granted for this purpose by the institution itself or by the absence entity.

 

Art. 9 The score of the intellectual production of the exempt professors will be of interest in each area of the following the guidelines that can be established in the large area of knowledge and by the Senior Scientific and Scientific Council of Education (CTC-ES), as well as those issued by the Aliança sector.

§ 1 professors who do not meet the requirements to be classified as a permanent professor or as a visitor, but who systematically participate in the development of research projects or teaching activities and / or the orientation of students in post-graduate studies, may be included in the category of collaborating professor. - graduation, regardless of whether or not they have a connection with UFPE, allowing them to act as the main advisor in the PPG.

 

Art. 10 professors responsible for the teaching, orientation and research activities of the Program will be required to exercise creative activity, demonstrated by the continued scientific and technological production of original works of proven value in the area of their work.

§ 1 The number of students / advisor is conditioned to the scientific production of the advisor, considering parameters established in internal rules of the PPG.

§ 2 It is recommended that permanent professors develop activities that allow the insertion of the Program in the national and international scenarios, as well as participation in extension activities linked to the Dean of Extension and Culture at UFPE.

 

Art. 11 To be accredited in the Program, through his own application or by the indication of a professor who is part of the collegiate, in the form established in internal rules, the professor must meet the following criteria:

 

I - hold a PhD;

II - have relevant scientific production in the last five years, linked to the research lines that make up the PPGNAFPF, according to the criteria defined by the Board;

III - be available to teach subjects in the course curriculum;

IV - be available for guidance by the Program's students.

Art. 12 The CPG must, annually and at the end of each CAPES evaluation cycle, evaluate the Program's professors, based on the criteria established in internal regulations, considering the following elements:

a) dedication to teaching activities, guidance and participation in research groups, attendance at Collegiate meetings and participation in examining committees;

b) scientific (bibliographic) and technological production, proven and updated in the last four years, demonstrated by carrying out research work of recognized value in its area of activity, according to the criteria established by CAPES;

c) execution and coordination of projects approved, preferably, by development agencies or public and private bodies, which characterize fundraising that benefit, directly or indirectly, the Program.

§ 1 The professor must keep his / her lattes curriculum up to date and provide complementary information, whenever requested by the Program coordinator or by CPG, with proof of his / her academic production.

§ 2 The score of the intellectual production of the collaborating professors will be included as production of the Program only when related to the activity effectively developed therein or with the participation of students of the Program.

§ 3 The score of the intellectual production of visiting professors to be included as production of the Program will follow the evaluation criteria defined by the coordination of the area in which the Program is inserted in CAPES, in compliance with the guidelines that may be established in the large area of knowledge.

Paragraph 4. professors who do not meet the minimum criteria contained in a specific rule for their category, as assessed by the CPG and the Collegiate, will be disqualified from the Program or, when applicable, placed in another category in which they meet the minimum criteria.

§ 5 The performance of sporadic activities as a lecturer, member of the examining board, co-supervision of dissertation work, participation in disciplines or co-author of any work does not characterize a professor or researcher as a member of the Program's faculty.

§ 6 The number of collaborating professors must not exceed 30% of the total number of professors.

§ 7 Exceptional cases, for which the application of the rules above is not clear, must be identified and analyzed by the CPG and taken for direct consideration by the Board.

 

CHAPTER III

STRUCTURE OF THE PROGRAM

 

SECTION I

COURSE OPERATION

 

Art. 13 The Postgraduate Program in Nutrition, Physical Activity and Phenotypic Plasticity is composed of the

 

Master's course, with a minimum duration of 12 (twelve) months and regular course time of 24 (twenty-four) months.

§ 1 In duly justified cases and with the supervisor's agreement, students may request:

I - locking of enrollment for a maximum period of six months, this period not being considered for the purpose of accounting for the maximum period required to complete the respective course;

II - extension of the course for up to 6 (six) months.

§ 2       It is up to the Program's CPG to decide on requests for lockout and extension.

Art. 14 The student will be disconnected from the course in the event of one of the situations listed below:

I. fail twice in courses;

II. Not obtaining a minimum income of 3 (three) to be calculated in a 16-month course, observing the provisions of Art. 72 of CEPE Resolution 11/2019.

III. failing or failing the qualification exam and / or pre-bankroll, as defined in this Internal Regulation or in the Internal Rules of the PPG in Nutrition, Physical Activity and Phenotypic Plasticity dealing with the theme;

IV. not to defend his / her conclusion work within the maximum period of permanence in the course, as defined in this Regulation;

V. not to defend its conclusion work under the terms of Sole Paragraphs I and III of Article 85 of CEPE Resolution 11/2019.

§1º It will be the responsibility of the PPG Collegiate to apply the dismissal, as prescribed in the caput, respecting the principle of motivation of the administrative act and ensuring the interested party the right to science and manifestation prior to deliberation, as well as the right to appeal under the terms of Resolution 11 / 2019 of CEPE and other relevant rules.

§2º Students disconnected from the Program may only re-enroll after approval in a new public selection and admission contest.

§3º If the candidate has been disconnected from the course more than once, it is forbidden to enter the same course again.

 

SECTION II

CURRICULAR ORGANIZATION

 

Art. 15 The curricular components that make up the Postgraduate Program in Nutrition, Physical Activity and Phenotypic Plasticity will be distinguished in mandatory and elective:

I - Compulsory components, reduced to the minimum number required by the general objectives pursued by the course and necessary to impress it with unity;

II - Elective components, which will allow the complementation of the curriculum necessary for the student's education within the lines of research or area of concentration.

Sole Paragraph - The curricular structure of the master comprises the list of curricular and mandatory and elective components that will attend the two areas of concentration of the Program: Experimental and Clinical Bases of Phenotypic Plasticity and Environmental Modulating Factors of Phenotypic Plasticity.

 

Art. 16 The number of credits required to complete the curricular structure of the master's program corresponds to a total of 24 (twenty-four) credits in curricular components, 13 (thirteen) mandatory credits, 11 (eleven) elective credits.

§ 1 The credit unit, or simply credit, will correspond to 15 (fifteen) hours of theoretical or practical classes, fractions of credits are not allowed.

§ 2 The credits obtained in stricto sensu postgraduate courses will be valid for 5 (five) years to be used for the master's degree counted from the end of the period in which the discipline was offered.

§ 3 At the discretion of the collegiate, credits obtained in isolated subjects taken at PPGNAFPF or in other stricto sensu postgraduate courses recommended by the competent federal agency may be accepted, according to the need for the student's dissertation work and with the approval of your advisor.

§ 4 The credits obtained in lato sensu postgraduate courses cannot be accepted for accreditation in this Program.

 

Art. 17 The Board may authorize the student of the Postgraduate Program in Nutrition, Physical Activity and Phenotypic Plasticity to take courses in other stricto sensu postgraduate courses recommended by CAPES / MEC.

 

CHAPTER IV

SELECTION AND ADMISSION

 

SECTION I

 

Art. 18 The selection for the PostGraduate Program in Nutrition, Physical Activity and Phenotypic Plasticity will be public and duly regulated by the Selection and Admission Notice, which will be published, as well as its results, on the Program's website and in the Official Bulletin from UFPE.

§ 1 Holders of a diploma or certificate of completion of full degree courses, recognized by the Ministry of Education, may apply.

Paragraph 2. Exceptionally and if there is regulation in a public notice, candidates who are in the last period of graduation may participate in the selection and admission process, provided that they present a declaration issued by the institution of origin attesting to be concluding the same, with expected completion before the date of enrollment established for the respective entry period, in compliance with §7 of Article 33 of Resolution 11/2019 of CEPE.

§ 3 Each Selection and Admission Notice will determine which graduation diplomas will be accepted and which prerequisites are necessary to participate in the respective selection.

§ 4 In the case of undergraduate courses carried out abroad, the respective diploma must be presented with the seal of the competent body of the country where the diploma was issued.

 

Art. 19 The number of vacancies to be offered in the public selection and admission to the master's course will be defined in advance by the collegiate of the Program.

 

Sole Paragraph - For enrollment in the master's course, the applicant must sign a commitment for the option for one of the areas of concentration of the PPGNAFPF, according to the rules defined in this Regulation and internal rules that may be issued by the collegiate of the Program.

 

SECTION II

REGISTRATION

 

Art. 20 The registration of the selected candidates will be ensured, under the terms established in the Public Notice.

 

Art. 21 The candidate classified for the postgraduate course must, mandatorily, make his initial enrollment in the first academic period after the selection exam, without which he will lose the right to admission to the respective course.

 

Sole Paragraph - Concomitant enrollment in more than one stricto sensu postgraduate course at UFPE will not be allowed.

 

Art. 22 Students not linked to the PPGNAFPF can take isolated courses, as special students, respecting the selection rules defined by this Program.

§ 1 The student enrolled in isolated subjects may take up to 10 (ten) credits in subjects without, therefore, obtaining a link with the PPGNAFPF.

Paragraph 2. Credits obtained in isolated subjects may be counted when regular enrollment takes effect, after approval in a public selection and admission contest, in compliance with the provisions of Paragraph 2 of Art. 15 of these Rules.

§ 3 The transfer of regular students from the Postgraduate Program to a course at the same level will be permitted upon proof of the following conditions:

I - be a regular student of the Postgraduate Program in Nutrition recognized by CAPES, in a training course same level;

II - be formally accepted by a Program advisor;

III - have the transfer request approved by the CPG and the Program collegiate body;

IV - present a letter of consent signed by the supervisor and the coordination, as well as school transcripts, both documents being issued by their original program;

V - have attended a maximum of 6 (six) months of the original course.

 

CHAPTER V

EVALUATION AND ACTIVITIES

 

SECTION I

OBTAINING CREDITS

 

Art. 23 For the purpose of obtaining credits and approval in curricular components, a minimum frequency of 75% of the corresponding workload will be required, in compliance with the provisions of Art. 70 of Resolution 11/2019 of CEPE.

 

Art. 24 The performance in each discipline and in other activities of the Program will be evaluated through tests, individual research works or by another process, at the discretion of the professor responsible for the discipline, according to the following classification:

A - excellent, with the right to credit; B - good, with the right to credit;

C - regular, with the right to credit;

D - insufficient, without credit.

Art. 25 In order to measure the student's academic performance, numerical values will be assigned to the concepts as follows:

A = 4

B = 3

C = 2

D = 1

 

Sole Paragraph - The academic performance will be calculated by the average of the numerical values of the concepts, weighted by the number of credits of the subjects taken, that is:

Art. 26 The frequency of the students and the results of the evaluation in each curricular component must be informed by the professors, in the Academic Management System of the Post-Graduation, before the beginning of the subsequent academic period.

 

SECTION II

USE OF ACADEMIC WORK

 

Art. 27 The Dissertation must consist of a final research work, of an individual and unprecedented character.

§ 1 The dissertation project that constitutes research involving human beings must have its development previously approved by the Research Ethics Committee, in accordance with the guidelines and regulatory standards for research involving human beings established by the National Health Council (CNS) .

 

§ 2 The dissertation project that consists of research involving experimental animals must have its development previously approved by the Ethics Committee on Animal Use, in accordance with the guidelines and regulatory standards for research involving experimental animals established by the National Council for Control in Experimentation Animal (CONCEA).

§ 3 The defense and formatting of the Dissertation to be presented to the Program must follow the Defense

Regulation and Dissertation Presentation Rules in force, of the PostGraduate Program in Nutrition, Physical Activity and Phenotypic Plasticity.

 

Art. If the advisor considers that the work of conclusion of a bibliographic character dissertation is not in conditions to be submitted to aliation by an examining committee he will have to issue a detailed opinion giving formal knowledge to the student and forwarding the opinion for appreciation of the Program, following the deadlines set out in the Internal Regulations and / or in the Internal Rules of the PPG. For the sole case in this paragraph, the student may ask the Cole iate for the class without his or her supervisor ip thesis at which the Cole iate will decide whether the class will be completed on the basis of a detailed opinion of a rapporteur or committee has designated this purpose, considering that:

I - if the student does not approve and the student has less time than at the end of the day for the total duration of the course, observing the Art. and Art. of the CEPE solution, he will be disconnected from the PPG.

Art. 29 The presentation of the dissertation, before the examining committee, will have a public character and will be widely disseminated by the Program.

 

Art. 30 The cost of the printed version of the Dissertation for the members of the examining committee will be the student's responsibility.

 

Art. 31 The Dissertation must be developed according to the project presented at the time of selection and / or qualification.

 

Sole Paragraph - The modifications that may occur during the execution of the project must have the approval of the advisor and the approval of the CPG.

 

SECTION III

THE EXAMINING COMMITTEE

 

Art. The Examining Committee for the Academic Master's Conclusion will be composed of three) examiners, at least 01 (one) of whom must be external to the Program.

§ 1 For each Examining Committee as described in the caput, two alternates will also be appointed, 01 (one) of whom will be external to the Program.

§ 2 The holders and alternates of the Examining Committee will have a doctorate degree and have scientific production related to the topic of the dissertation work, in addition to having published at least one scientific article in a periodical chapter. de li ro a li ro or a complete article in scientific conferences used according to criteria in the area of evaluation in CAPE.

Paragraph 3. It is hereby authorized to participate in the examining committee of professors who are natural

relatives in a straight or collateral line to the third rank by ancestry or descent) or civil relatives of the candidate for the degree and of his / her advisor (s) / co-supervisor (s).

o The supervisor's or co-supervisor's participation in the Examining Committee acculturated to the simultaneous participation of more than one of them.

Paragraph 6. A copy of the dissertation, printed or digital, will be sent by the supervisor or by mastering the members of the examining board at least 15 days before the date foreseen to defend the dissertation.

§ 7 In the judgment of the dissertation, the examiners will take into account the intrinsic value of the work presented, the domain of the theme, the power of systematization, the quality of the presentation, the ability to take a position in the face of questions or problems related to the work presented, being necessarily required contribution to the field of knowledge in question.

§ 8 In the judgment of the dissertation, the student will have a maximum period of 30 (thirty) minutes for oral presentation of his dissertation.

§ 9o Each examiner will have 20 (twenty) minutes to make his / her question, granting equal time to the person being examined to answer each question.

 

Art. 33 Once the defense of the dissertation is over, the Examining Committee in a secret session will decide on the result, attributing only one of the following mentions to the conclusion work of the candidate for the Master's degree:

I - APPROVED;

II - DISAPPROVED.

 

Article 34 Observing what was described in the previous article, the candidate will be assigned the mention that he obtains the absolute majority of the otos of the participating members of the examining committee, as defined in the caput of articles 91 and 92 of Resolution 11 / 2019 CEPE.

o In case of attribution of the term "AP OAO" consulted by the Examining Committee to reuse in proper form to be between ue and the student non-substantial changes to be made in the final version of the dissertation.

o In case of the attribution of the term "AP OAO" and if no changes are reused by the Examining Committee, the student will be immediately able to make the deposit of the dissertation at the Central Library.

Once the student has fulfilled all the re qui ent requirements for obtaining the rau, as regulated in Art. 93 of CEPE Resolution 11/2019, the PP may issue a declaration attesting that he and us to the respective rau with ality up to diploma dispatch.

 

CHAPTER VI

STUDENT GUIDANCE

Art. 35 Each student of the Postgraduate Program in Nutrition, Physical Activity and Phenotypic Plasticity will be supervised by a professor from the Program, respecting at least the link between the scientific production of the professor and the subject of academic work and the limit of supervisors by advisor.

Paragraph 1. They may set up as co-supervisors of dissertations, in addition to professors of the Program, professors from other stricto sensu postgraduate courses, as well as qualification professionals and unquestionable experience in the relevant field in the course proposal.

 

§ 3 The minimum and maximum number of students per advisor will be defined by the collegiate body, in compliance with CAPES recommendations for the Program area.

 

CHAPTER VII

OBTAINING THE DEGREE

 

Art. 36 In order to obtain the master's degree to the candidate of erá fulfill the following requirements: I - have been approved in the drawing up or presentation of the Conclusion work as defined in Art.

resolution of CEPE and having carried out the current recommendations of the examiners in relation to the end of the respective work, under the terms of the current rules;

be between your final version in the Central Library within 30 (thirty) days, counted from the date of the

defense of the dissertation;

having met the other requirements established in the resolutions and Ordinances of the Superior electoral fronts, as well as in the University Statute and General Regiment.

 

Art. 37 The Master's Diplomas will be requested by the Program to PROPESQ to be issued after the student fulfills all the regulatory requirements and the Examining Committee.

Sole Paragraph - For the issuance of the Diploma duly registered by UFPE, in a course recognized by MEC, the

student must previously deliver copies of the final version of the Dissertation, in a version required by the Program and one to the Central Library of UFPE, in digital medium (PDF ), as established in the Resolution. No. 16, of September 14, 2016, of the CCEPE, as well as documentation required by the Diploma Registration Service (SRD).

 

CHAPTER VIII

PROGRAM MONITORING AND SUPERVISION

 

Art. 38 For the proper monitoring and inspection of the Postgraduate Program in Nutrition, Physical Activity and Phenotypic Plasticity by Organs competent bodies, professors must provide, in a timely manner, all information that may be necessary for the correct completion of reports or documents requested by PROPESQ and / or CAPES and / or CNPq.

 

CHAPTER IX

GENERAL PROVISIONS

 

Art. 39 Omitted cases will be resolved by the Program's Collegiate Body and by the Research and Post-Graduation Chamber of CEPE at UFPE.

§ 1       The decisions of the Collegiate may be appealed to the CEPE Research and Postgraduate UFPE.

§ 2       The deadline for entry of the appeal will be 30 (thirty) days, counted from the notice of the interested.

§ 3       These Rules of Procedure will come into force after their approval by the CEPE UFPE Research and Postgraduate Board and on the date of their publication in the Official Bulletin of the Federal University of Pernambuco.
