For many years, the Graduate Program in Physics at UFPE has been encouraging the participation of graduate students in the teaching of basic Physics subjects. This participation became even greater with the creation of the Teaching Internship by CAPES.

The involvement of Postgraduate students in teaching activities, under the coordination of a teacher from the permanent staff of the Program, has been beneficial to the student as a complement to their training and acquisition of didactic experience.

In fact, all CAPES scholarship students have acted, according to the rules established by this agency, as a professor of Undergraduate courses (notably the basic cycle) in order to fulfill their Teaching Internship.

The performance of these students is supervised through semi-annual reports both by their advisor and by the Program's Graduate Commission.
