About the Program

The Graduate Program in Electrical Engineering (PPGEE) is part of the Stricto Sensu Graduate Courses at the Federal University of Pernambuco. Its objective is to train highly qualified professionals capable of carrying out scientific research and technological development in Electrical Engineering.

PPGEE offers Master's and Doctorate courses in the areas of Communications, Electronics, Photonics and Energy Processing.

The faculty is made up of 18 permanent professors, 14 of whom are CNPq research productivity fellows.

The PPGEE has 19 research lines associated with the Program's four areas of concentration.

PPGEE professors maintain scientific exchanges with various research groups in Brazil and abroad. The research developed by PPGEE professors and students is frequently published in scientific journals and national and international conferences, including awards for the best scientific articles presented at events.

The PPGEE is classified with grade 5 according to the four-year evaluation of CAPES.
