PosNeuro graduates hold a PhD sandwich at the Université de Nantes, France, through the international cooperation project entitled “Study of behavioral and molecular changes in the circuits that regulate feeding behavior induced by perinatal nutrition and their consequences on the development of obesity”. Project CAPES/COFECUB 657/09 with the participation of members of PosNeuro (Professors Sandra Lopes de Souza, Ana Elisa Toscano and Raul Manhães de Castro).

PosNeuro graduates held sandwich doctorates at the Université de Lyon – France, through the international cooperation project entitled “Nutrition, physical activity and phenotypic plasticity: study of cellular and molecular mechanisms associated with the perinatal origin of cardiovascular diseases, type 2 diabetes and obesity in life adult” between UFPE and the Université de Lyon. CAPES/COFECUB (797-14) with the participation of a member of PosNeuro (Professor Ana Elisa Toscano).

Another international cooperation project entitled “Effect of neonatal L - tryptophan treatment on locomotion and pasticity in rats submitted to an experimental model of cerebral palsy” allowed researchers to work on missions and exchange students. International cooperation project between the Federal University of Pernambuco and the Université de Aix-Marseille-França (FACEPE 01/2017 -APQ-0162-4.05/17-CAPES Program-88881.158531/2017-01) with the participation of PósNeuro members (Professors Ana Elisa Toscano and Raul Manhães de Castro).

PosNeuro students participated in a Symposium at the National Institute of Health - USA, where they visited the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute Laboratories and also the Johns Hopkins University Laboratories. Students also participated by showing their PhD work at Neuroscience 2017, a Congress linked to the Society for Neuroscience in Washington, DC.

PosNeuro members have collaborations with Germany and a PosNeuro student held a doctoral internship with a PDSE CAPES scholarship at Hochschule Osnabruck, University of Applied Sciences – Germany.

PosNeuro professors were lecturers at the “Congress on Brain, Behavior and Emotions” (2018) and at the XXXIV Brazilian Congress on Headache Online 2020.

Professor at PosNeuro was invited to give a lecture at the I World Congress on Interfaces of Psychology current affairs and research.

Another PosNeuro professor remained as a senior visiting professor at the Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 between 2019 and 2021. PosNeuro members have a permanent collaboration with Mexico with different actions: They presented papers at the XIV State Congress of Science, Technology and Innovation (2019), Morelia- Mexico, at the IX International Biogeneering Symposium (2019) in Morelia, Mexico and at the LXIII National Congress of the Mexican Siciety of Physiological Sciences AC , Online 2020. Student Mercedes Victoria Urquiza Martínez from the Institutional Program for a Doctorate in Biological Sciences at the Michoacana University of San Nicolás de Hidalgo (UMSNH) in Morelia, Mexico, with registration 0232642A, received a scholarship for a doctoral internship at PosNeuro. In addition to these exchanges, the members of the PosNeuro collegiate also received financial support from "Tecnologia Nacional de México" (Code: 44401-01 / 2020).
