Resumo:
Six years after the first successful synthesis of all-inorganic perovskite nanomaterials, this novel class of quantum-confined semiconductor became the focus of research for several groups worldwide. Much of the growing interest in investigating CsPbX3 (X = Cl, Br or I) has emerged from their set of unique photophysical properties. In this talk, I will discuss some of the unusual electronic structure of perovskite quantum dots (PQDs) and perovskites nanoplatelets (PNPs) and the consequences on their photophysical properties, which include strong multi-exciton Coulombic interactions, peculiar band alignment with photoemission originating from a bright triplet level, and unusual electron-phonon interactions.
