He is currently Associate Professor in the Business Administration Department at Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE). He Conducted studies Postdoctoral at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA. He did his Doctorate and Masters in Industrial Engineering, with emphasis in Finance and Investment Analysis at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio); and a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Lima, Peru. He coordinates the Center for Studies in Finance and Investments (NEFI / UFPe) and integrates the research group Organizations & Complexity (UFPB). He performs supervision at post-doctoral level. He has experience in Finance, with emphasis on the following topics: Risk Management, Corporate Finance and Capital Markets.

Cláudio de Araújo Wanderley

Claudio Wanderley received his PhD in Accounting from the Management School, University of Sheffield, the UK. He is an Associate Professor at the Federal University of Pernambuco, Brazil. He was also a visiting scholar at Portland State University, Erasmus University, the Netherlands and Amsterdam University, the Netherlands. He is vice president at large of the International Association for Accounting Education & Research (IAEER), and member of the AAA (American Accounting Association) Global Engagement Committee. He was also the Director of Institutional Relations of ANPCONT (Brazilian Accounting Association). He is associate editor of the Revista Contabilidade e Finanças (The University of São Paulo) and head of the management accounting stream of the ANPCONT Accounting Conference. He has had a number of research projects funded by renowned organizations such as CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) and the IMA (Institute of Management Accountants). His main research interests include management accounting change, management accounting practices adaptation, identity and the management accounting profession, accounting systems in emerging economies, public sector reforms, and regulation. He has published his research in a range of highly rated academic Brazilian and international outlets (e.g. Management Accounting Research and Journal of Accounting in Emerging Economies) and has presented his work at numerous international and Brazilian conferences.

Daniel José Cardoso da Silva

PhD in Controllership and Accounting from the University of São Paulo (USP), Master and Bachelor of Accounting from the Federal University of Pernambuco. Has experience of approximately 20 years in financial institutions, with experience in granting and credit risk assessment, having worked at the Pernambuco State Bank, ABN / AMRO - REAL Bank and CAIXA Econômica Federal, and has held positions at various levels of management and supervision. He served as Coordinator of the Accounting Sciences Course at FAREC (Recife College) and Professor at FAPE (FAculdade Pernambucana). He was Assistant Professor in exclusive dedication regime at UFAL - Federal University of Alagoas. Since June 2013 he is a Professor at the Federal University of Pernambuco He has been a researcher, leading the research group: Cultura & Contabilidade, by UFPE. He was the administrative-financial director of COVEST - UFPE in 2013 and 2014. He is Editor-in-Chief of RIC- (Accounting Information Magazine) 1982-3967. He has several articles published in event journals and annals, in accounting and finance. Areas of interest: organizational culture and climate, finance, financial performance, management and controlling accounting, archeology & accounting, religion and accounting.

Giuseppe Trevisan has a Ph.D. in Economics (2018) and is an Assistant Professor in Accounting and Actuarial Sciences at Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, Brazil. His research interests focus on Economics of Education, Labor Economics, Applied Econometrics, and externalities in policies. He also works as a consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and Itaú Social on policy evaluations.

He holds a bachelor's degree in Economics at the Faculty of Humanities Esuda (1986), a degree in Accounting at the Faculty of Humanities Esuda (1991), a master's degree in Controllership and Accounting at the University of São Paulo (1996) and a doctorate in Controllership and Accounting at the University of São Paulo (2002). He is currently Professor of the Department of Accounting and Actuarial Sciences of the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) and director of the Center for Applied Social Sciences at UFPE. He directed 25 master's dissertations, published 31 articles in journals and 81 papers published in congress proceedings. He is one of the leaders of the research group Internal Control of Organizations registered in the CNPq directory. He has experience in the area of ¿¿Administration, with emphasis on Controllership, working mainly in the following areas: Controlling, accounting, internal control in the public sector, management accounting, performance evaluation and cost accounting.

Katherine Elizabeth Horton

Kate Horton received her PhD from the Institute of Work Psychology, University of Sheffield, United Kingdom. Since then, she has worked in the Netherlands as a Postdoctoral researcher on a large EU research project, and as a visiting assistant professor at UFPE, Brazil. Kate's research focuses on the role and impact of multiple identities and identification in the workplace. She is particularly interested in how workplace identities and identity conflicts shape individuals' reactions to organizational change. She is also interested in the changing nature of management accounting roles and functions and the future of the management accounting profession. She has published on these topics in a range of management and accounting journals. She is currently a research associate at Rotterdam School of Management, the Netherlands and an Assistant Professor at UFPE.

Luiz Carlos Marques dos Anjos

Luiz is Adjunct professor at Federal University of Pernambuco - UFPE, has undergraduation and MsC in accounting at UFPE, Ph.D. in accounting at the Multiinstitucional and Inter-regional Accounting Programm. His study focus is the use of accounting information to the decision making process. He has already worked at the following areas: accounting, financial management and strategic planning. The main areas of research are cost accounting, controllership, managerial accounting, executive compensation, performance measurement, small and medium enterprises.

Visiting Professor at the University of Kansas (Jun / 2012-Jun / 2013 where he conducted research on internal controls) and POLIMI? Polytechnic Institute of Milan (2010 - where he taught costs for projects). He is Editor of RIC - Revista de Informação Contabil and member of the editorial board of several periodicals. He is Professor of the Master and Doctarate's Degree in Accounting of UFPE and Researcher of the National Council of Scientific and Technological Development. He has published several articles in specialized periodicals and more than one hundred papers in annals of events, as well as chapters of published books. He has supervised more than 20 Master's and Ph.D. dissertations, in addition to having guided several scientific initiation projects in the areas of Accounting, Administration, Production Engineering and Information Science. Received 12 awards and / or honors. Coordinated several research projects. Currently coordinates a research project on the use of internal control’s material weaknesses in local governments. He works in the area of ¿¿Administration and Accounting, with emphasis on Management Accounting, Controlling and Costs. In his professional activities he interacted with over 60 collaborators, co-authors of scientific works. His areas of expertise as researcher and consultant include: Costs, Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Performance Indicators, Organizational Performance Measurement, Supply Chain Management, Controlling.

Márcia Ferreira Neves Tavares

Márcia Ferreira is a professor at the UFPE of the Department of Accounting and Actuarial Sciences. Professor of the Graduate Program in Accounting Sciences at UFPE. He holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting from the Federal University of Pernambuco (2007), a post-graduate degree in accounting from the Federal University of Pernambuco (2010) and a PhD in Accounting from the Multi-institutional and Interregional Program of UNB / UFPB / UFRN (2016). He is currently a member - European Accounting Association, lecturer at the Regional Accounting Council in Pernambuco and a partner at Ferreira & Associados Auditores Independentes. He has experience in Accounting, with emphasis in Accounting Theory, working mainly in the following research topics: Normatization and Regulation of accounting, international accounting, with emphasis on lobbying related to accounting standardization and accounting management in startups. Professor of Corporate Accounting II, ministering the corporate relations between companies, through the equity method, working with consolidation of the financial statements and corporate restructuring.
