Central Library
The integrated Library System of the UFPE includes the Central Library, plus 12 smaller units located in the different Academic Centres and in the school ‘Aplicação’. Together these libraries have a collection of 195,519 tittles with 376,584 volumes.

University Publisher
The University Publisher is responsible for supporting the intellectual production of professors and researchers, and for the printing the numerous publications developed at the university, such as books, quarterlies, maps, folders, posters, among other material.  

Hospital das Clínicas
Considered a model hospital among university health units, the ‘Hospital das Clínicas’ is used as a place of action and practice for students of Medicine, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Odontology and the Social Services.

LIKA - Immunopathology Laboratory Keizo Asami
The Immunopathology Laboratory Keizo Asami (LIKA), functionally open since 1986, is a research institute of tropical diseases in the Brazilian Northeast. It has various lines of study, among which the most notable are those related with diagnosis and the proposition of new therapeutic procedures.

Nucleus of Physical Education
The Nucleus of Physical Education and Sports (NEFD) is responsible for stimulating and developing projects related with the practice of sports at the UFPE. These projects benefit the academic community as well as civil society with activities in the areas of sports and leisure.

Nucleus of Public Health
The Nucleus of Public Health and Social Development (NUSP) develops projects and programs that promote general health in the UFPE, and also promotes health public policy that benefits the poorest populations of the State.

Nucleus of Information Technology
The Nucleus of Information Technology is responsible for the management of the infrastructure of software and hardware of the UFPE, aside from planning and executing the information policy of the University.

Nucleus of TV and University Radios
The Nucleus of TV and University Radios offers to the public varied and distinct programs, with projects produced by students and professors of the University’s Social Communication Course.

City Hall
The City Hall is responsible for the superintendence, planning, coordination and inspection of activities regarding expansion, recuperation and maintenance of the physical installations, and for the coordination of cleaning and landscaping at the UFPE.
