When the exchange student visits the “Coordenação de Cooperação Internacional”, he will be given an authorization to register in the courses and information on how to proceed. He will also learn how he may get the University Student Card, which proves he is a regular student at the university and how to get the transport pass.
Exchange students are recommended to enroll in a maximum of five subjects plus the Portuguese for Foreigners Course, if their language skills are not good enough to follow all other classes.
