Lab. Facilities


   The NEG-LABISE encompasses seven laboratories: (a) laser-based extraction line for silicates and oxides, (b) gas-source mass spectrometry, (c) conventional high vacuum extraction lines (carbonates, silicates), (d) X-ray fluorescence, (e) Elemental Combustion System for C and N isotope analyses, (f) ion-exchange laboratory, (g) chemistry laboratory. In addition, the NEG-LABISE facility has a library of scientific journals and books that address the topics of petrology, isotope geology, stratigraphy, and tectonics.
   These laboratories are installed in a 400m2-building constructed by the Federal University of Pernambuco.
